Southern Mare Imbrium

Highlighted by the rays of Crater Copernicus the light-colored streaks in the lower part of the photograph, created by material scattered when the meteor that formed Copernicus impacted the Moon this sector includes much of Mare Imbrium's southern section, as well as the eastern edge of Oceanus Procellarum (in the shadows on the left side of the photo).
